Megan Sampson

Currently, I am studying Equine Business Management at Hartpury University. As soon as I could sit up by myself, I was put onto a horse. My love for horses has been growing ever since, so much so that I have wanted to pursue a career in the equine industry.  I own the perfect hunter, called Florence, and we have been hunting with The Wilton Hunt for over 5 seasons now. Along with this, I have competed in interhunt relays for The Wilton Hunt Junior and now Senior team.  

Emma Atkinson

I am in my first year of studying Equine Business Management at Hartpury University. I have been riding for 8 years and currently compete at Advanced Level Dressage with my two mares Donatella and Royalty. I chose to study Equine Business as I enjoy the opportunity to interlink the difference aspects of the course. currently, I am unsure as of what career I want to pursue but would love to be able to ride to a professional standard.

Samantha Stevens

I have been riding for around 11 years and have always had a massive passion for the sport. Throughout my equine career I have participated and grown in many sectors of the industry, some of which includes gaining my BHS stage 2, being a frequent member of the pony club, actively working at international horse shows and completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management. Currently owning a 17 hand high Irish sports horse, I enjoy competing in all aspects of the industry, and have recently widened my riding experience into the sport of Polo, being a founding member of the Hartpury Polo Club. My plan has always been to start up my own equestrian clothing line and develop new styles within equestrian wear, which is why I chose to study a degree in Equine Business Management at Hartpury University.

Helen North

I am a first year Equine Business Student at Hartpury University. I have had a love for horses since I was very young and began learning to ride when I was 6 and got my first pony when I was 9. I have a passion for Eventing having worked on an Eventing stud yard helping with both the breeding and training of young event horses. I have previously competed in dressage and showjumping but my current focus is Eventing. I chose this course as I have an interest in business having studied Business and Economics at A-Level also the amazing facilities at Hartpury allow me to produce my new horse alongside my studies.
